Making Time for your Passion

I first picked up a camera during a study aboard opportunity in France. Photography became a hobby that allowed me to reflect some of the best memories, connect with people, and see the world in a new, beautiful way. Unfortunately, my passion project had to take a back seat to the hustle and bustle in my everyday life. Taking and editing pictures became more of a chore and creative burnout set in fast.

Since travel sparked my love of photography, I figured the best way to reignite my love for it would be another trip to a new place. Japan was all that I could have asked for and more, and the people, food, and scenery were the perfect amount of culture shock. From serene shrines to fast-paced cityscape, Tokyo offered the perfect balance of inspiration. This experience reinvigorated my affinity for capturing stories and taking the time to explore the world around me.
